Day 5 Check in

Pretty delayed on this end here, and since I have a job and stuff, I haven't been able to watch most of the games today.

I saw most of the action in Togo vs. South Korea. And I have to say, the Togo Team, considering their long odds and internal issues, played very well. They hustled, they put the ball on the net, and for a good long while, held the lead.

They had, essentially, the kind of losing effort that one could be proud of, as opposed to outright bedshitting the US subjected us to yesterday.

But South Korea, with some truly wicked shooting, managed to eke out a 2-1 victory, and the 3 points. Since I'm speculating on things that have already happened, the next sentence is a complete waste of everyone's time. But, if France and Swizterland ended up tying each other, that would put a very fit, confident S Korea at the top of the board all by themselves.
