The Macalester Fighting Scots beat Ripon College in soccer this fine evening, 1-0 with a goal from local boy Carson Gorecki in overtime. As far as we can determine, "Carson Gorecki" is his real name. After beating Bethel earlier in the week, the Men's Team is 2-2, after a tough roadtrip to start the year, with losses to UW-Whitewater, and some place called Edgewater. It should be noted that Carson is fantastically pretty, and is probably getting more ass than a State Fair portapotty.
Meanwhile the Female Fighting Scots haven't lost a game in a really long time, and tied UW-Oshkosh 1-1, getting a goal from the equally improbably named Kelsey Speer. I have never met her, I'm not sure I've ever seen her play, but I have a bit of crush on Mac linch-pin Grace King, who seems to play a pivotal role in just about every game played. Though, of course, for pure offense, you need look no further than Annie Borton, who is like the second-coming of Macalester Legend Jenn Scanlon.
Update: You can apparently watch some big upcoming games on the web. Check here regularly. Biggest matches upcoming are both on the women's side, with games against St. Cates (which should be an absolute drubbing) and St. Thomas in the coming weeks.
