Legion of Doom Nominee: 1986 Atlanta Hawks

This video is a delicate mixture of evil and genius. Which is the raison d'eter of the LOD in the first place, no?

Nothing can stop us, We're Atlanta's Airforce!

Inspired. Any idea if that was pre-Shuffling Crew?

I think we can all agree that the adoption of hip-hop culture has been super important to basketball.

I don't think David Stern would agree with you on that score. Speaking as a lame whitey, I find this very comforting. The new scarey NBA has done nothing but pushed me towards Nascar.... boy those guys sure take exciting left turns!!!

By the way, I didn't mean to imply that I was 'white' in my earlier posting. As anyone who has seen me play this season in the NFL can attest, I am... how would Ice Cube put it... blacker than a trillion midnights. My claim to lame white-itude was mere artist licence.

This is post-Shufflin' Crew. That was the '85 season, Super Bowl in early '86. The thing is, this smells less like the Shufflin' Crew and more like the New England Patriots' megalame "New England, The Patriots and Me."

Hell, this is more like "We are Kickers, We Kick Ball."
