Steelers Running Out of Ways to Injure Players

Kendall Simmons (RG) of the Pittsburgh Steelers is missing this week's game because he apparently fell asleep with a chemical ice pack on his foot. It was there, in theory, to help with a heel injury he was already suffering from. What did the ice pack do?

It gave Kendall a touch of the freezer burn. He has frostbite like symptoms on his foot. So he's missing the game. Given the various ways that Steelers have been hurt this year, I think its safe to say that God put money on the Bengals to win the AFC North.

The whole thing is beginning to remind me of the Simpsons' episode where Mr. Burns recruits a bunch of baseball ringers to play on his softball team, and they all have horrible things happen to them. Hines Ward, stay away from the Brain and Nerve tonic!
