Late in Game 1 of the World Series, Never to Be Forgiven For His Overreaction to Randy Moss Joe Buck was discussing the fact that Matt Holliday will show TV audiences why he was so widely regarded as badass before this series was done.
I was in the other room, so I don't know exactly what Tim McCarver was talking about when he said this (and I paraphrase, as again, I was in the other room.)
But roughly (emphasis and suggestive quotes my own)
"Matt Holliday is a 'big' guy. 'Big' guys usually have a slow stroke. But Matt Holliday is a 'big' guy who strokes fast."
McCarver, you sick son of a bitch!
