Anyone who knows the Viking situation knows that the door for Favre will stay open. That said, I'm a little surprised by just how certain Glazer sounds. Despite no real sourcing, as he admits--the overall vibe is that everyone is assuming he is coming: "Players, coaches, team employees ... you name it, they seem to believe it. The case for a Favre-Vikings marriage seems more likely than not when we look at the overall picture of clues."
Of course, the Millerites were pretty sure about a 2nd Coming, too. One can place too much heed on what the folks inside the cult have to say.

"The Lead" on the Worldwide Leader this evening said something like, Vikings players believe Favre will join team.
I'm torn as to whether I want the trainwreck to happen or not.
If the Vikings' management had any sense they would have gone after Michael Vick. With Vick and Peterson in the backfield on that fast surface they would have been a formidable offensive (literally) attack. Sure, they would have booed the first few times, but after scoring some td's they would change their tunes.
Glazer is on the money. Favre is coming to mn today. what a long strange trip...
