USC Kicker Mario Danelo was found dead, at the bottom of a cliff on Satuday Afternoon.
The article is pretty light on details, and I'm assuming that's because there aren't many details to be known. There is probably conjecture though, and I'm willing to lead that charge.
Are we looking at murder? Suicide? Accident? I don't know, but the guy seemed to have plenty to live for. He was a damn good kicker, and probably would have been signed to a team at some point. Which is also known as The Cushiest Fucking High Paying Job in the World.
I imagine details will start to come out, but if they are the pedestrian sort, they probably won't make national news. So let's everybody keep an eye out. The young man is gone, which is sad. We can only hope he has done us the favor of leaving behind a mystery and scandal that is worthy of James Ellroy.
