Is Zindane contemplating a move to the states? If he comes, I hope to see him on Snoop Dogg's new show.

I still think the MLS should hire Brazilian ninjas to interview Zindane about how big a terrorist whore his mama is, instead of wasting it on Snoop. Oh yeah, and adding a couple of talented, young soccer players is also sure to create the critical mass soccer needs to instigate a frenzy sufficient to allow the sport to overthrow Alison Fischer and the female billiards crew as the 12th most popular sport in the country.

I always pictured you more of a Jeanette Lee (Black Widow) kind of a guy.

Wrong. Norwood has always been Morewood when it comes to Alison Fisher, for reasons not altogether clear.
Having read the article, it sure seems like writer Martin Rogers has (as he is wont to do) spun a whole blanket out of one pretty thin thread.

I agree, I think his thread is incredibly thin - basically it is Beckham did it, why not Zindane? I believe Beckham move was less about soccer and more about money and stardom in the states (modeling, posh spice, etc.). Zindane is not a good match for any MLS team, he uses posession and precice ball control to break down a defense while most of the MLS uses a run and shoot offense. Zindane is a sniper, the MLS is more like a bunch of drunken frat boys with shotguns.
