Dude comes into your house and smashes up all of your things. Breaks the plumbing, rips the electrical and phone wires from the walls, destroys every appliance you own, rapes your wife, beats your kids, slaps you around for hours, tortures your neighbors...the very least you should be able to do is throw a shoe at him.
Of course, he also killed your evil mother-in-law, which was sweet, but come on.
That's a big shoe.
